Get Involved
Protect Tesuque is powered by people. Here’s how you can help protect our water supply from contaminated wastewater discharged from the illegal treatment plan at the Bishop’s Lodge Resort.
Spread the Word so others know about the threat
There are many ways to get the word out! Whether it’s a conversation with neighbors and family, creating and/or sharing our website and social media posts (Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube), contacting the press, forwarding our newsletter, calling your contacts, or going door to door, sharing accurate information builds our movement. Talk to everyone who cares about clean water, about what’s happening, why it matters, and how people can help.
Sign our Petition to put pressure on elected officials
Sign our Petition to call on our elected officials to stand with people – not polluters – by enforcing the laws created to protect the waters of New Mexico. Support the movement to act locally and impact globally. If this issue is allowed to happen in Tesuque, it could happen in any New Mexico community—especially small, rural places without political power. Make sure your elected officials put an end to illegal dumping in New Mexico.

Join our Weekly Saturday Protests from 9-11 am at Bishop’s Lodge
Every Saturday from 9:00 AM–11:00 am, we gather at the entrance to the Bishop’s Lodge Resort to protest their illegal and irresponsible waste disposal plan. These peaceful protests send a powerful message to the public, the media, and lawmakers. Bring a sign, a neighbor, and your voice. If you can’t make the protest and happen to be in the area – make some noise as you drive by. These gatherings also provide an opportunity to be in community and catch up with neighbors and stay up to date.
